    The quality of their goods is excellent, lot's of middle eastern foods and choices. Prices are fair. My problem is with store policy, or lack thereof, and customer service. I went shopping there (NDG)store), this last week and paid with a 100 hundred dollar bill. I did not count my change. When I got home I realised I'd been shorted over 50.00, I returned immediately, bill and bags in hand. The cashier I dealt with was still there, she called the store manager and he told me there was nothing they could do other than see if her cash balanced at closing. Fair enough, I called at closing and was told matter of factly, her cash balanced, (but of course it did). I asked if someone had been with her as she counted her cash for the night, an extra set of eyes would not of hurt. I was asked 'what difference that would've made?' I never recovered my money. I am a long time customer there, or was. That they so flippantly disregarded this situation with an "Oh Well," type of attitude was very disappointing. In this economy espeically, business people should be more diligent and sympathetic when trying to resolve a problem like this. I understand there are people who pull scams or try to, but among those are legitimate cases. A manager with good people skills, instinct and diplomacy should be able to spot the differences and make a fair decision. Surely a store policy governing matters such as this should be in place. A food voucher for the amount disputed amount would've be one soultion. I carry some responsibility (now all of it) for not counting my change, but I'm sure others do it all the time. If they do have a cashier who is making those types of errors, you would think they'd want to do something about it. Low marks for no customer service.
